A. J. Murphy pleaded guilty to grand larceny in Lebanon Missouri and received two years in the penitentiary. He hired a team to move to a nearby town two weeks earlier and was later found in Springfield trying to dispose of it. His home is near Bagwell Miller County. He is also wanted in Sedalia for stealing Captain E W Stevens horse. Mr and Mrs G W McPherson of near Latham celebrated their thirty third wedding anniversary last week.
