Police report J T Kelly, an operator, arrested after attempting to leave town with two forged checks. He allegedly passed a $7 check and earlier a $5 draft, both bearing false signatures. He was arraigned, case postponed, and bonds not posted. Kelly, about 35, once worked in St Louis, has a Kansas City mother.

Justice Kinsey discharged Hortense Cross for disturbing the peace and continued Tom Ambles burglary case to Tuesday at 9 am. Fines levied on Jas Hunter and Lon Porter for disturbing the peace, on Will Woodward and Ed Smithe for gambling, and a petit larceny charge was dismissed. A boy named Jones received $10 repayment. Judge Rogers jailed Walter Gibson and Effie Flavis for five days for lewd conduct. Police Judge Burress fined Sidney Smith and Chas Kloss two dollars for drunkenness. Ed Smith, a teamster, was fined three dollars.
