Messrs Servant Shultz and Brown sold their seven thousand dollar stock in the Servant Harker Drug Co at 508 Ohio to Messrs Sherman Porter Will S Farris and W Crawford. Porter becomes secretary and general manager and Farris, who has long supervised prescriptions, remains a key druggist. Servant Brown and Shultz retire from all interest in the business.

Centertown man convicted of forgery in Missouri circuit court
David L. Hathhorn, a Centertown resident, was found guilty of forgery in the circuit court. He received six months in the county jail after a second trial that followed a hung jury. The indictment charged forging deeds to real estate tied to the late Judge Freshour, with Hathhorn’s wife receiving the larger share. Mrs Hathhorn is related to Sedalia grocer W J Letis, a co executor, who along with Mrs Letis testified in the case.
