Sedalia organizers plan a large delegation to Tipton for Willian Jennings Bryan's visit next Friday. The Second Regiment Band will accompany the party, with travel from Sedalia at 12 45 pm. Bryan is expected to address Kansas tomorrow and may ride Missouri Pacific No 2 east.

J. H. Looney Aboard Shipwreck on Missouri River
Traveling freight agent J. H. Looney survived a shipwreck when the Gus Fowler struck a snag near Mokane Missouri, sank in ten feet of water, all aboard escaped with no injuries, and the vessel likely will be raised. The accident occurred Tuesday morning as they approached the Mokane wharf with a partially loaded cargo including 2000 sacks of wheat and livestock. Captain Lamonte commanded the ship and Pilot Shadwick steered. no lives were lost among passengers or crew.
