W. F. Graham, 20, drowned during a swimming attempt in Rock Island Lake east of Windsor Missouri. Frank Thompson tried to help him with others nearby as Graham tired, Thompson signaled for help and Graham sank after a 30 yard struggle. The body was recovered about 4 PM and sent to Walker Missouri. coroner ruled accidental death with no investigation.
