President Roosevelt arrives in Gardner Montana and will lay the cornerstone for a new Yellowstone gate this afternoon. He urged Americans to visit Yellowstone now and predicted a large congressional appropriation for the park when Congress convenes.
Lieutenant Governor Lee, recently in Chicago, appeared before a St. Louis grand jury to answer questions about legislative boodling. He said he is done with politics, may resign, and asserted he had not profited from legislation this session.
Washington dispatch reports Assistant Attorney General for the Post Office James N. Tyner is removed after his wife removed all papers from his safe. Officials say the papers included private items and one bundle related to a postal employee investigation. The incident prompts renewed scrutiny of Tyner's administration and possible charges.
Mrs Parsons, an aged Lamonte resident and longtime Baptist church member, died this morning of general debility. She was among the county’s oldest residents and a prominent worker in the W C T U.
Brief local notice states that Dr. W. G. Cowan has changed his residence and provides no further details.

Mrs W E Reynolds died Wednesday afternoon and funeral services were held this morning at the First Christian church with Rev Fannon officiating. The church was filled with sorrow and floral offerings were numerous and beautiful. Members of the O R C and the Ladies Auxiliary and the Knights of Pythias Social Club attended in a body. Pallbearers were chosen from the various organizations.
