The Senate remains in session as mobilization plans proceed for regular army units to move to Chickamauga Tampa New Orleans and Mobile. General Miles prepares the army for immediate action with volunteers to follow the congressional step toward intervention in Cuba.
Recorder McDougall today issued a marriage license to Sidney Smith and Minnie B Hall, both residents of Sedalis.
Fort Leavenworth soldiers received orders to move south and are expected to pass through Sedalia on Monday.
The Lafayette Street Evangelical Lutheran Church and First Congregational Church announce worship services and sermons with Sunday English preaching at 7:45 pm. A gospel temperance mass meeting is set for Sunday at the courthouse from 3 to 5 pm. Baptism at the close of Sunday evening services is listed.)
Several hundred Arizona soldiers travel to Jefferson Barracks in Missouri passing Sedalia this afternoon with two trains of seventeen cars. They will be greeted by Sedalians with an ovation upon arrival.

Mrs Thomas Adalia aged 60 died of pneumonia at her home on West Jefferson Street at three this morning. The funeral will be held from the Salvation Army barracks tomorrow afternoon.
