F E Thomas of Sedalia Missouri bought a tract of land one mile south of Cherryvale from C J Corbin and will construct an iron foundry there. The plant will be built at once and employ about twenty five men.

Frank Walton a native of Pennsylvania and Miss Sallie Reece eloped from Higbee Missouri on Friday via the Katy trail. They planned to marry in Sedalia. No marriage license has been issued in Higbee for the couple.
