The legality rests on police power to regulate health welfare and economy.
Mayor Fitzgerald will attend a Pacific coast mayors conference at the state capitol assembly chambers. He accepted John Brown's invitation Wednesday. At 10:01 Wednesday on 15th Ave near Dennyway and FE John Kopf waited in his car when a flivver driven by 16 year old B Berliner rammed it. Rev A F Cogdon of Blaine stepped in to mediate and was knocked down by a street car while demonstrating. Cogdon suffered a injured left arm and was rushed to hospital. Separately Lieut D B Gish departed Sacramento for Reno aboard ship No 38 after leaving Presidio earlier in the day.
Deputy prosecutor C C Dalton filed against Antonia Stimson 2329 Fifth Ave W for permitting vicious animals to run at large after two wolf hounds attacked five school children and two women. Reuben P Hill drove the dogs away and neighbors say the Stimeans keep about 20 dogs in a kennel.

Two masked bandits entered the M. L. Smith jewelry store in Portland at 9:20 this morning. They threatened the proprietor with a gun, took $1,200 in cash and diamonds worth thousands of dollars, and escaped in an automobile.
The radiator in Mayor Fitzgerald's office was found leaking after a sequence of janitors and officials inspected the room. Repeated checks confirmed the leak, with a widening puddle noted by Wednesday afternoon. The mayor awaited a solution while remaining unable to sit near the radiator.

Catherine Lombardo sues B Terry in Yakima for 25000 damages claiming her husband was killed when Terry ran him down. The case dates to August 22 1919 with hearings upcoming in superior court.
