Chicago reports a sharp drop in hog prices with pork chops at the season’s low. At 10 a.m. the average hog price stood at 14.10 dollars per 100 pounds, down 25 to 56 cents from yesterday, extending a slide from Saturday’s close amid lower corn costs and heavier receipts.
