Plans to partially cover Northern Pacific tracks at depot

The chamber of commerce heard plans for a partial roof over tracks from the depot to the Grat track for the Northern Pacific passenger depot at Columbia street. The $1900 project avoids delaying the union depot by covering all tracks. A special committee will report next meeting. From 4 pm yesterday to 3 am today Seattle police arrested three people in a night of disorder. Officers broke up fights on Main and Washington streets and detained drunks, vagrants, and two women, Nellie Smith and Allie Faringe, for disorderly conduct.
