Express Company Safes Cracked in Tacoma Heist
In Tacoma two express company offices, Wells Fargo and Northern Pacific, were burglarized by night. The Wells Fargo safe was blown with nitroglycerine and the Northern Pacific safe keyed open. The entry occurred off Pacific Avenue near Tenth Street through a neighboring real estate office window. Authorities seek to arrest the culprits as the crime was not discovered until morning.
