A. Aitkins of 2808 Fairview Avenue was struck by a Northern Pacific train at 29th Street and Brooklyn Avenue Monday morning. He received a crushed arm and bruises and was taken to Seattle General Hospital. he works as a car man for the railway. Separately, motion pictures will be shown on Trans Siberian trains to relieve long journey monotony.
Motorman H. L. Brannan, 28, died after braving a collision on East Madison Street. He remained at the brakes to save passengers as his car crashed, sacrificing himself to prevent more deaths.
