In Deadwood on the Spearfish road a runaway accident yesterday claimed the lives of G. Weldge and Herman Smith. Weldge, called the potato king by northern tribal communities, was the region's largest potato raiser.

Tacoma November 14 The Northwestern Fruit Growers Association will convene in Tacoma from January 15 for three days. The group covers Washington Oregon Idaho and British Columbia and is expected to bring 200 to 600 delegates. Secretary Wilson may send a department representative and experts from Chicago will lecture on picking sorting packing and shipping fruit.
