A massive early morning blaze at Holmen avenue streetcar Barn in Cleveland destroyed a two story brick structure housing nearly 50 streetcars. Five firefighters inside were buried. three died, one later perished, others injured. The fire damaged the barna complex with reading rooms billiards and employee lounges. losses estimated around 300000 dollars.
The nickel-in-the-slot devices were installed in saloons and cigar stands across the city Saturday evening and are to be confiscated if owners do not remove them. Deputy rounds up the venues as officials press action led by Prosecuting Attorney Scott.

In New Haven Princeton edged Yale 11 to 6 with Capt. Dewitt scoring the Tigers only touchdown after a brilliant first half run. The game stayed tight through the final five minutes as Princeton kicked a field goal and seized victory for the first time since 1890.
Seattle high school players returned from Tacoma with a 7 to 0 victory in a driveline rain on Eleventh Street grounds. The field was muddy and play was limited as Seattle stopped Tacoma’s drive while Beattie supporters cheered the win. The returning party was described as a hilarious crowd.
