George L O Perry, the young man who pawned watches stolen from Agnes McPhee and Clara Morton, identified Allan G Mason as the man who gave him the watches. In St Louis the machinist Gua Lang drank from a bottle misidentified as a bottle of his usual beverage. The bottle held flea medicine instead of liquor and Lang began to suffer after realizing the error. The mishap involved his dog whose flea medicine bottle was intermingled with the drink.
Beattie fuel dealers formed a woods association last week and set a new price schedule that took effect today. Forest wood rose from 2.75 to 8.00 per load while mill wood increased from 2.00 to 2.25.
