Deadly Shock Fatal for Cedar Street Conductor
James Crozier, a 20 year old Cedar street line conductor, was instantly killed by an electric shock while at a Seattle Company telephone box at Cedar street and Denny Way. Three others were badly shocked. one man tore the receiver from the instrument. Authorities say crossed wires likely caused the accident. Crozier, unmarried and sole support of a widowed mother, had worked for about a year. The central office warned other car men to avoid the box as investigators examined the scene. The Sunset Telephone Company maintained the phones for the Seattle Electric Company.
