The University of Washington commencement exercises concluded with a grand ball at Lenny hall drawing nearly 400 attendees. The dancing hall dazzled with flowers and school colors as the graduating class and guests enjoyed Wagner orchestra music. Refreshments were served and dancing ran from 9:30 to 1:30. The 1901 commencement drew a crowded attendance at Denny hall.
