Operator killed by sixty thousand volts at station
Reing chief operator of the department at the station died after a circuit of high tension delivered 60 000 volts through his body while insulating a line near Seventh and Yesler Way. He was instantly killed as Joe Newstrom witnessed a bright arc and found him on the floor. Deputy Coroner Wm Borthwick took the body for inquest to be held today.
