Grote Rankin to Open Major Seattle Store at Pike Street
The Grote Rankin Company to build a six story reinforced concrete mercantile building at Pike Street and Fifth Avenue Seattle. The $200000 structure will feature a grand fountain, mezzanine offices and a ladies’ rest room. Plans include model rooms on upper floors and a new warehouse at Thomas Street and Terry Avenue on the Lake Union Belt Line.
