All Injured Recovering After River Incident
Of the 45 people taken to the city hospital all were removed later to their homes or to Seattle General or Providence hospitals. Most victims suffered shock from the plunge in cold water and swallowing water and are about recovered this afternoon. A few injuries came from bumping into piling or hitting a chain. The five remaining in city hospital will be removed today.

Big Dock Accident Tragedy at Colman Dock
A chain hoist failed at Colman Dock causing the gangplank to slip and 60 passengers into the bay. Mrs. Florence Learned and Carl Bruder drowned. about 20 injured. Rescuers including Newton Johns and Roy Lillico saved many as ambulances ferried victims to Seattle General and Pacific hospitals. The manager E F Morgan cited standard slips and regular inspections while coroner hints at possible negligence. Inquest planned for tomorrow.
