New York Parade Draws 140000 in Preparedness March

New York saw the largest civilian display for preparedness as 140000 men and women marched in 64 divisions from City Hall at 9 70 a m. The procession featured 200 bands with leaders Roosevelt Harriman and Roosevelt Jr among those in line and many stores closing for the event.
