He faced 25 armed men including Sheriff Saunders and was taken to Medicine Bow then Rawlins for transport. Brown had chained two women in Henson and stolen multiple cars during his flight.
Thirty five delegates from Fortson Thygesen camp No. 2 United Spanish War Veterans will attend the state encampment in Yakima in July 2022. Eight will go to the national encampment in Los Angeles in August.

Thomas F. Hunt a Seattle attorney and former political editor for the Boston Globe and Boston Post died at his home in Seattle at age 64. Coroner’s office suspects heart failure. services set for 9 am Tuesday at St. Anne Church. He is survived by wife Katherine and sons Neil and Hector.
Deputy District Attorney McClelland said the office will present evidence to the county grand jury seeking indictments for bigamy against Rudolph Valentino and fellow screen stars Frank Mayo and Bert Claudius. The development follows a new inquiry into their marriages in Los Angeles.

Francisco Garcia a noted Mexican bandit and eight of his men were killed when they attempted to rob a Mexican Southern Pacific train bound for Los Angeles carrying 450000 dollars. The attackers struck south of Mazatlan but were beaten off by guards defending the train.
