Federal grand jury charges six inmates James Mortarity Arthur Spencer Albert De Kolt Bruce Kenwright Jas Carroll and F Schuits with forming a plan to overpower and murder prison staff at McNeil Island to escape. Officials watched them and thwarted the plot in May.
