France blamed for war in Seattle judge book excerpt

Frederick Bausman of Seattle, former state supreme court justice, argues in Let France that France bore part of war losses and should receive less under Versailles. He says a single French telegram to Russia could have averted the war and claims France and Russia had larger armies than Germany. The author is in London with Mrs. Bausman and plans to return to Seattle next month. Frank Luke of Deming fined $25 for setting slash fire without a permit.
