During grand jury selection Deputy Attorney Patterson questions hint at a probe into the looting of the Scandinavian American Bank of Seattle. Prosecutor Douglas has evidence of deliberate looting with funds withdrawn from local banks and sent to California. County Commissioners Smith Ramaay and Dobeon awaited call to testify before indictments.
Secretary Weeks told the senate agricultural committee he does not accept Henry Ford’s offer for the Muscle Shoals nitrate project.
