The judge, angered by the torture accounts, said he would act with force if present. Pestot and his wife were later found insane and ordered committed to Steilacoom State Hospital.
Indianapolis reports that Democratic national committeeman Tom Taggart, shot while hunting at Fayette, has a pierced eyeball and is partially blind despite doctors’ assurances they could save the sight of his right eye. A bird shot from his secretary 8 Norton’s gun struck Taggart in the face, right shoulder, and chest. Rev J M Dean of Seattle is being invited to Pirot Baptist church in California. Ren Dean will depart soon for his new post. J Allen Smith of the University of Wallington will address the sect at Arcade Hall tomorrow night.
Scott Calhoun writes to Superintendent Valentine alleging the city hall gang led by Gill has ignored franchise approvals for six years and argues that public rights are being traded away. Bouillon was ousted for related information and sent to Valentine. Calhoun corroborates Bouillon.
In Los Angeles, W. W. Wilson and his wife at 2019 Magnolia Ave welcomed quadruplets two boys and two girls. Their family had previously seen triplets born twice and twins once, all within nine years. One set of triplets earlier died. one boy from the second triplet birth survived at age four. The two surviving triplets are now nine years old.
At the close of the first day of Peter Miller's trial in Tacoma, Miller and prosecuting attorney George F. Vanderveer clashed loudly. The court warned both sides to stop the disruption as Vanderveer made a statement Miller called a lie. Vanderveer retorted with vile language, and Miller's attorney Glasgow appealed to the court as the judge reprimanded them.

Also mentioned Rev Wilbur W Cochran a Burmah missionary with 20 years in the field will preach at Temple Baptist church tomorrow morning.

Capt. Tennant’s records portray Miller as a hardened criminal and suspected murderer, with criminal histories across the nation.
