Two Seattle Woodsmen Survive Massively Harsh Storm Ordeal

Robert Bronson and Wallace Carik, both logging camp workers, lost in a blizzard near Kerriston Washington for seven hours waded a freezing river after missing a trail. They followed the river bank then plunged into the canyon river to escape the storm. Rescued near their home camp they received prompt care and are rapidly recovering. Rob Cafe Safe Loot At Seattle Branch

Seattle witnessed its eighth safe cracking in six weeks at the Shanghai Restaurant company branch, 711 Pike Street. In Chicago on February 16 Harvey Church 23 pleads to starve himself rather than face execution tomorrow after a week of forcible feeding under Jailer Meisterheim. New York February 16 George Tex Rickard famous boxing manager was indicted by a jury on charges involving young girls. Two indictments allege three counts each based on testimony by 15 year old Alice Ruck and Sarah Schoenfeld. They claim he took them to his office at Madison Square Garden and to an apartment on West 40th street. Rickard pleads not guilty and remains on $10 000 bail. He was summoned to appear in supreme court to plead to the charges.
