Dill, a former Spokane congressman and only Democrat from his district, spoke at a Democratic state central committee meeting in Seattle saying he is seriously considering a run, criticizing Poindexter as conservative. He will headline a banquet for the Democratic committee in Olympia.

Frank Waterhouse files an answer in federal court to a bankruptcy petition against Frank Waterhouse & Company and Vulcan Manufacturing. He claims Seattle National Bank conspired to bankrupt the firms to seize assets and quash a $600,000 damage suit. He says Vulcan was bought May 4 1918 for $575,000 based on bank advice asserting $900,000 value and limited liabilities.
N C Richey a street car conductor received a six month sentence from Justice C C Dalton after a Ballard district case. Irene Miller 16 a Ballard high sophomore was knocked unconscious over a missing school fare pass. The judge condemned the act as disgraceful and noted the conductor overstepped his authority while dragging the girl from the car.
Washington February 11. The United States Shipping Board was expected to authorize sale of 95 wooden hulls on the Pacific coast to Robert J MeGahie of San Francisco acting for a group of Pacific coast shipping men. The hulls were auctioned and McGahie's bid, said to be somewhat under 160000 dollars, was the highest.
Seattle unemployed war veterans and their families will celebrate the opening of the new veterans' kitchen Sunday at 7 p m at Veterans' hall located at 1646 Third Ave.
Film star Mabel Normand recounts her February evening with William Desmond Taylor. She details a brief visit, dinner, and discussion before leaving. Taylor promised to call but did not, and Normand notes it was the last time she saw him alive.
