Fireman Feitz dies in Seattle Sumas wreck at Lake station
Chas. Feitz a fireman for the Northern Pacific was burned to death when a freight train struck a landslide near Lake station fifteen miles north of Seattle late Saturday night. The mixer train of sixteen cars caught fire after the slide, five cars burned, engineer Montgomery escaped. Feitz, 26, from Wayland Iowa, died between the locomotive boiler and an overturned car. The body was brought to Seattle and shipped to relatives.
