C A Johnson, 35, and his six year old son were fatally struck by a passenger train after Johnson attempted to end both their lives. At the city hospital Johnson is critically hurt with multiple injuries. The boy’s body was found headless at Butterworth’s morgue. Johnson had recently separated from his wife after quarrels and had urged reconciliation before the tragedy.

A restraining order blocks her discharge as the school board and neighbors prepare to appear before Judge Dykeman Friday to decide why the order should not be made permanent.
