Walter Hathaway of Fisher Mills reported a 15 year old boy went out in a boat to fish near the mill and within half an hour the boat was found adrift empty. A search was started but no trace of the boy was found.

A notorious thief described as cowardly and meek was captured after a spree of robberies. Police say Frank Gray, alias H A Graham, admitted nothing and showed fear, while Detective Griffiths dismissed him as a petty crook with nerve from a bottle.
Dr S T Stewart of 933 12th Ave S struck J B Murphy of 7910 37th Ave S injuring him on the left side. The accident occurred while Stewart avoided a car on Fourth Ave near Pike St. Murphy says the doctor’s car was speeding and after stopping for the other vehicle Stewart hit him. A charge of reckless driving was filed against Stewart.
A E Moberg of Mount Vernon filed with the Progressive party for state auditor this morning. Edward Clayson Sr a Seattle publisher filed for secretary of state. F M Goodwin progressive candidate for congress in the Spokane district also filed this morning.
Paris reports Lieut. Lewis Chandenier of the army aviation corps burned to death when flames from the petrol tank enveloped his aircraft between Douai and Chatons. The plane plunged, and his body was found in the wreckage. An Indeterminate sentence from 1907 was challenged as possibly illegal.
