Fremont Street Car Accident Endangers Dozens of Passengers
A street car on Blewett avenue at Fremont plunged down a hill after a curve, injuring many passengers from a Ballard Lake Green Lake picnic party. Motorman Duncan Graham and Conductor Harry Mille assisted victims as doctors arrived. no fatalities were reported. The crash stemmed from a jammed track brake and misaligned controller, trapping the car on the incline and sending passengers forward against the front of the coach.
