Insane mother murders daughter with axe in Victoria

Special to the Star, Victoria. Mrs Anna Fleming of North Park Street killed her daughter Pearl, 21, with an axe in the Woodshed. The father, John W Fleming, had recently died by his own hand. Mrs Fleming is in custody, claiming she was obeying her husband. The event followed mental distress and the family was well known in the city.
