Two Mormon preachers touring Pindville Kentucky say they were assaulted at a church on Middle Park Creek. After being clubbed and kicked out, they were told to leave within two hours by local men who attacked them yesterday.
The John A Balner Seed Company of this city purchased eight million feet of lumber from yards across Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. The Sawyer Arnold Lumber Company of Minneapolis handled the sale for a total of 76000 dollars.

A report from the local Great Northern office states Third cavalry troops left at 2 o clock yesterday for Beattie. The 102 men with horses and equipment are commanded by Lieut Patterson. A special train is due tomorrow afternoon and three Fort Ethan Allen troops will depart St. Paul tomorrow to arrive here Monday afternoon.
Special to the Mar Victoria reports the Warspite flagship of the North Pacific squadron entering port to replace the Imperieuse. The Warspite, with an eventful career, has seen much active service and served as a close gunboat earlier. It was formerly stationed on the Australian coast.
