London reports a note to France Belgium and Italy proposing Britain renounce reparation claims against Germany and cancel allied debts if an international agreement includes the United States. A furniture factory at Foy station three miles north of the city limits owned by F B Bannup was destroyed by fire late Monday afternoon. The blaze started when a stove pipe broke and flames shot into the wall. Estimated damage totals 3000 dollars with 1200 dollars insured.
John Cummings and Mrs. Mary Sullivan of the Abbotsford apartments were injured Monday night when their car was struck by a large vehicle on the Bothell highway near the city. The other driver fled after the smaller car overturned. Mrs. Sullivan suffered a broken gellar bone.
The railroad presidents in New York announced they unanimously rejected Harding's proposals on restoring seniority rights to free. L. F.
