Cotton 15 Now Picked by Machine
An early operated cotton picker tested in Little Rock Arkansas could end hand picking. Mounted on a tractor, the device powers itself and uses brushes to gather cotton through a vacuum then dust and moisture are removed before storage. Nine picker heads allow nine rows per trip, claimed to triple the speed of hand picking and yield higher grade cotton.
