City Officials Barred From Free Transit Under Charter
The mayor asserts that accepting free transportation from Beattie Electric violates state constitution and city charter. City officials including mayor, council members, and board of public works cannot use transit passes. passes issued previously are unauthorized and may carry removal or pay forfeiture.
