A man allegedly threw an infant into a furnace at a mill, described by Burke as a 23 year old with dark hair about six seven, tall and thin. The coroner estimates the child was about three weeks old as flames and smoke filled the mill area and authorities investigated the shocking incident.
The decree of divorce from Llewellyn B. Reakirt of Cincinnati awards Anna Howard Reakirt two million dollars annual alimony plus seven million in a certified check and a future one million to her son Robt. Reakirt on the father’s death. The funds cover alimony, litigation expenses, and the son’s education, amid notes of the couple’s high profile and varied wealth.
A mysterious Italian man has lingered in front of the Otis boarding house for several days at 9 PM, staring at windows. The occupants report no knowledge of his purpose and have asked police to remove or detain him after similar half hour vigils.

John Wise, 21, reportedly a religiously obsessed maniac, took over the Griffin restaurant at 610 Charles St during breakfast, acting as chef, waitress, and cashier. Detectives Adame and Corbett evacuated patrons, recovered Wise, and found the eatery wrecked with meals and dishes scattered. Wise had been acting oddly for a week and is to be examined in custody.

A burglary at M. W. Bonnell’s grocery at 2814 EB Street resulted in four hams, a cleore, fruit and other items stolen. Entry was gained by removing a back panel during the night. value of the booty was not substantial.
Mrs Odie Wilhite and Garfield Jessie eloped from Louisville to evade pursuers. After more than 4000 miles they were captured in this city. The woman will return with an officer. the man is ordered to leave Tacoma. No criminal prosecution expected.
