Mrs Howard P Selover and her daughters drove to San Diego last weekend to attend the wedding of Miss Diane Mollison daughter of Mrs Luther B Mollison The Mollisons are former Naples residents
A noon luncheon honoring Naples Parent Teachers Association past presidents was hosted before the February 8 Founders Day meeting by Mrs. William McAllister and co hostess Mrs. Thomas Brown at 5669 Corso Di Napoli. Attending were Mesdames Conrad Riley Paul Murdock E J Bragg L F Perry S T Exley Richard Russell Maurice Plumblee and Izora Neff.
Laurie Seabern of Rivo Alto Canal is convalescing at home after a tonsillectomy performed February 9.
Neil Rinker of 5543 St. Irma Walk will manage the Lowell School municipal playground, succeeding Milton Herring in the leadership post.
The C. E. Woodalls of 124 Siena Drive spent a weekend in Palm Springs and drove home via El Centro and San Diego.
Alumni chairman Ray Gillingham aged 90 with address 9 Rivo Alto Canal named reunion chairman for Pomona College class of 25. Reunion set for Aluani Day June 11 on Claremont campus. Mountain retreat hosts Maurice and Ruth Plumlee at Arrowhead cabin with Herb Buehlers and Paul Deats families as guests. Founders Day Naples PTA met Feb 8 with Cub Scouts leading flag salute and youth group exhibits.
The Midterm Awards Assembly at Naples School featured Mrs Phyllis Demler as play director. Students across grades won kickball volleyball and dodgeball in a ceremony with emblems and star awards given to many students. Two quotation lines appear as peer sayings from the event.
