A early morning fire at Yore's Opera House in Benton Harbor Michigan killed eleven firefighters and injured several others. Li Hung Chang and party arrived in Niagara Falls at 11 45 this morning to a crowd of about 4000. After visiting Cataract House they viewed the falls and observed American railways and power works, expressing admiration and noting interest in adopting American methods on a future Chinese railroad. The party stayed at the Cataract House overnight and planned to cross the river tomorrow morning.
