Theore had a comfortable night and today he is slowly recovering with chances of recovery increasing. Miss McConnell te il proving and her recovery is unlikely. Greater New York Bill Passed in Albany March 4 Senator Lexow's bill passed the assembly by a vote of 1 to 4 5 The measure now goes to Governor Morton for approval.

In Port Jervis New York on a Sunday evening Jacob Snyder and his wife were poisoned with arsenic. Jacob died the next Tuesday while Mrs Snyder lingered until morning. Their daughter Martha Whittaker is held under surveillance as the suspected poisoner. Autopsies show arsenic, a box of rat poison is in the house, and an insurance policy favors Martha's claim. Mrs Snyder left a will disinheriting Martha.
