Ulace War, fourteen, was assaulted by two men on a Sunday evening as she walked home from Sunday school through Blackwater swamp near Garden Road Vineland New Jersey. One attacker dragged her while the other tried to pull her into the swamp. she fought free and ran to Farmer John White who rescued her and brought her home. Her father and neighbors searched the swamp but could not locate the assailants who had boasted of their plans earlier.

Train Wreckers Caught After Wheels Jump Incident
Three 1year-old train wreckers Pred Hoshock Willie Neagle and Peter Graham were arrested in Bridgeport Connecticut on December 31. They chopped a sign and built a tire arrangement to make a train wheels jump but caused no serious damage.
