Suit Over Coal Land Ejectment Case Heard
In common pleas court on Saturday the ejectment suit by H. Co. Comegys and others against A. B. Russell and others proceeded. Plaintiffs contended the option and lease rights were valid and ongoing despite delays. Witnesses testified to dated leaves and coal findings in December 1891 with eleven feet discovered. The defense argued plaintiffs only held an option, not a lease, and that option had expired then extended. The court adjourned early for the day.
