Community partners create garden for senior housing residents
Residents of ECEOC Senior Housing Apartments in Corbin enjoy raised vegetable beds built by Whitley County Master Gardeners Extension Agency and First Baptist Church. Volunteers planted transplants from Corbin School System greenhouse and will sustain gardening eight weeks for activity and socialization. KCEOC representatives thanked the partners as the project supports aging residents’ health.

Andy Shea 31 the president and chief operating officer of the Lexington Legends was arrested for alcohol intoxication after an incident at a Lexington convenience store early Sunday. Police say he bumped into counters dropped items from a grill and attempted to leave without paying. He faces arraignment in Fayette District Court and may pay a $179 fine and court costs at a court appearance.
