Marx to Run Gulf Station Here in Scottsdale
John J. Marx, who took over the Shell Service station at Brown and Main, arranged to buy Mc Guffey's Gulf Service at First and Scottsdale. The Gulf station will be Marx Gulf Service with Orvel Brown managing the Shell station. Red Cooper remains as manager. McGuffy leaves Gulf to run a Mesa restaurant.
