Raymond Leon Jones 35 of Long Beach California faces an October 10 trial on charges of bribing a public officer and burglary. He and A R Tisnado were arrested July 21 for burglarizing a Copper Belle Phoenix restaurant safe containing nearly $2000. Jones allegedly offered officers 500 dollars to release him and Tisnado.

Donald P. Doyle an ASU assistant professor of speech and drama was appointed chairman of the 1964 National Children's Theatre conference by the American Educational Theatre Association.
