British Troops Exchange Fire in Belfast Ardoyne
British soldiers exchanged shots with gunmen wounding a soldier in the knee in Ardoyne Belfast. The army said troops fired back as gunmen fired four rounds. Fights also reported in County Fermanagh where civilians clashed after soldiers removed spikes in a road to curb smuggling. Five civilians were detained and handed to police.
