Catholic Scout Retreat Honors Troop 446 Members
Eight Boy Scouts and two adult scouters from Troop 446 sponsored by Our Lady of Perpetual Help received awards at the first Catholic Scout Retreat. Youths Suspected in Marijuana Use in Scottsdale
Six Scottsdale teenagers were arrested in two incidents involving suspected marijuana. At Papago Plaza a clerk found four marijuana cigarettes in a plastic bag as police questioned three girls and a boy. Later two Saguaro High students were detained near 86th Street and Laredo after police found four bags of suspected marijuana inside a car.

Girl Struck by Truck in Scottsdale Sustains Minor Injuries
A seven year old girl was struck by a truck on East Palm Lane at 5 15 p m Monday. Lisa Kissner of 8752 E Palm Lane stepped into the street in front of a truck driven by Tony E Murrieta 49 of 8719 E Palm Lane. She received minor injuries and was treated and released at Scottsdale Baptist Hospital. Murrieta was not cited according to police.
