Paradise Valley Village zoning amendment gains planning board support

Scottsdale planning commission endorsed a zoning amendment for Daycor Inc. 1200 acre Village of Paradise Valley to ease financing for buyers without raising housing density. The change shifts from Planned Area Development to single family 10 000 square foot lots on two parcels near Thunderbird Tatum 42nd Street and Cactus Road Paradise Valley Parkway. Daycor spokesperson Rasor called the staff misread and described the measure as a legal technicality enabling easier construction financing via a single family zoning change.
